Vince McMahon Reportedly Not High On Popular Raw Star

A popular Raw star is reportedly receiving push-back from higher ups in WWE because Vince McMahon is unsure if they have the “spark”.

Keith Lee debuted on the main roster with a lot of promise. The former NXT Champion was quickly paired with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre after pinning Randy Orton in his first pay-per-view match.

Towards the end of last year, Lee began to get lost in the shuffle. Aside from an entertaining WWE Championship match, Lee hasn’t had much to do on Raw since the beginning of 2021.

Ringside News – who currently have a good track record with backstage news – are reporting that Vince McMahon is unsure of Lee. Specifically mentioning his promos, Vince McMahon reportedly doesn’t think Lee’s promos have “caught on fire”.

Keith Lee reportedly was one of the “big men” that McMahon handpicked to go back to the WWE Performance Center for more training towards the end of 2020.

While Ringside News claim that only a select few stars are standing out to McMahon for their promos, McMahon thinking that Lee needs work is unfortunately a recurring feeling for the Chairman.

Keith Lee is currently scheduled to challenge Bobby Lashley for the US Championship at Elimination Chamber alongside Matt Riddle. Lee hasn’t been on WWE TV since defeating Riddle two weeks ago, so could be removed from the match prior to Sunday.
