Vince McMahon Thought Former WWE Star Spoke Like A Weatherman

While you may not know it from his run in WWE, EC3 is a tremendous talker. He can cut a hell of a promo but WWE never let him speak on the main roster. Now, we know this has something to do with the interesting mind of Vince McMahon.

When asked about his promos in an interview with WrestleTalk’s Louis Dangoor, EC3 revealed McMahon thought he spoke like a weatherman. Hell of a reason to keep the mic out of his hand. Here is the quote:

“I barely spoke. Maybe I could have been more forceful in trying to speak but I remember specifically someone saying ‘Vince sees you speaking only like a weatherman’ and I was like ‘alright, okay. I guess. Why? Is there a reason’ ‘oh yeah!’ Okay. He’s a creative genius, right? Eh. And then the pointing thing. Like I came up and I’m new there so I’m not trying to be shaking the boat or doing too much. Like ‘if this is what you want I’m gonna do it the best I possibly can, but can I please talk about this for a second?’ ‘Sure.’ ‘The last thing I want to be is some generic, one-dimensional guy who just has muscles. That’s the exact opposite of who I am.'”

Since being released on WWE’s Black Wednesday, EC3 has been releasing vignettes on Twitter. These vignettes have shown off his promo ability and his creativity, further demonstrating how big a letdown his WWE run was.
