WWE has announced that the one and only Vince McMahon will be appearing tonight on SmackDown to open the first ThunderDome show.
The official WWE Twitter account simply tweeted:
BREAKING: @VinceMcMahon will kick off Friday Night #SmackDown LIVE TONIGHT from the #WWEThunderDome at 8/7c on @FOXTV!
The last time McMahon appeared on WWE TV was during Triple H’s 25th anniversary segment with Shawn Michaels back in April, and we all remember how that went.
Tonight’s SmackDown will be live from the ThunderDome, and as always we’ll have live coverage tonight here at WrestleTalk.com. What could Vince be doing… Just a little welcome to the fans? Perhaps RETRIBUTION will turn up and attack him? Or maybe he’ll just jump off the top of the ThunderDome like the lunatic that he is.

- Big E vs. Sheamus
- Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Lucha House Party – SmackDown Tag Team Championship
- AJ Styles (c) vs. Jeff Hardy – Intercontinental Championship
