Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn were all absent from this week’s taping of Monday Night Raw.
This meant that the show, which featured the return of Kane and the King of the Ring finals, was instead run by executive producer Paul Heyman.
Triple H’s absence was expected, as he is currently in Orlando preparing for NXT’s premiere on the USA Network tomorrow night (September 18), but it is unclear why Vince and Kevin were out of town.
It is reported that Michael Mansury, WWE’s VP of Global Television filled in for Kevin Dunn, and it is not clear whether McMahon and Dunn will be back for SmackDown Live.
It could be that Vince is also in Orlando alongside his son-in-law, doing his best to make NXT just live Raw and SmackDown, or perhaps he’s just tired after ripping up the script for SmackDown several weeks in a row and needed a nap.
There is also the possibility that with the XFL relaunch on the horizon that McMahon will be leaving WWE in the hands of others while he tries to make his football company a success.
We will update this story if there is any more information regarding their whereabouts.
