There has been lots of talk about Vince McMahon’s thoughts on the WWE tag team division of late, with reports indicating that he is not a fan of doubles action. However, it seems he has turned a corner in his viewpoint, at least with two teams in particular.
The Revival vs Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler on this past Monday’s Raw was certainly a very good match by all accounts, especially considering the lacklustre programmes that have plagued the Raw tag team division recently.
McMahon evidently agrees with the glowing reviews of the match, with reports stating he was very impressed with both duos.
Source of complaint
It was reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, that Vince McMahon was “very pleased” with the tag-team title bout.
That is potentially great news for the Raw tag division, which has been a source of complaint from many WWE fans for the past couple of months.
It will be interesting to see where WWE decide to go with The Revival from here. Many argue that they deserve a main roster push, especially those who watched them shine in NXT. Dash and Dawson have not had much succsess on Raw, with injuries sidelining Wilder, and then Dawson, before they could make an impact after their debut.
Will their impressive performance against the tag champions be the catalyst for their turnaround? Let’s hope so.
