While speaking with WrestlingInc, Gerald Brisco has revealed that WWE asked him to use his property to shoot a segment with Bray Wyatt after he was released by the company earlier this year.
Brisco revealed that while he expected Bruce Prichard to fly out to the property, he was shocked to see that Vince McMahon also made the trip to spend some time with his former employee:
“It didn’t shock me that Bruce was coming over because Bruce is my brother, but it did shock me that Vince would take the time out of his schedule after flying all the way down from Connecticut, going through all the protocols and everything that you got to go through, get in the car and drive another hour and a half, come over and visit me for an hour and a half.”
This is not the first time we’ve heard that WWE asked someone to use their property for a segment after they’d been released. Matt Cardona was asked by WWE if they could use his pool after he was fired for a segment with Otis and Mandy Rose.
WWE actually brought Gerald Brisco to the Amway Center for Friday Night SmackDown last night for the opening segment which saw the WWE roster stand at the top of the ramp to pay their respects to Pat Patterson, who passed away this week.
