According to recent reports, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will be meeting with WWE Performance Center staff today.
Earlier this week, it was reported that McMahon would soon be making a rare visit to the WWE training facility in order to scout talent. As per PWInsider, McMahon is scheduled to have a meeting with Performance Center staff and coaches today.
The report stated that many working in the WWE PC are “privately concerned” by the visit, given the number of cuts made by the company in recent months. Last week, several notable NXT names were given their marching orders, including Tyler Breeze, Fandango and Killian Dain.
The WWE Performance Center is ran by head trainer Matt Bloom. Shawn Michaels has taken on a major role at the training facility in the past year. He is said to be very progressive, focusing on the modern style inside the ring.
Previous reports noted that McMahon will also be scouting talent when he visits the WWE PC. NXT Champion Karrion Kross and former North American Champion Bronson Reed were reportedly on WWE’s list to be called up.
Reed has recently revealed whether he’d prefer to join Raw or SmackDown when he makes his main roster debut.
