W.Morrissey Former Big Cass Makes AEW Debut

W.Morrissey Former Big Cass Makes AEW Debut Impact

W.Morrissey, formerly Big Cass during his time in WWE has made his debut on AEW Dynamite when he took on Wardlow.

With J.R. on commentary noting, “all the way from Impact!” he later wondered on commentary if Morrissey was looking at this match like a payday or like a job interview.

Standing at 7 feet tall (and no, you still can’t teach that) Morrissey has recently appeared for IMPACT Wrestling

With the crowd bantering between “How you doin?” chants, Wardlow chants and dueling, “We want Enzo” and “No, we don’t!” chants dominating the backdrop of the match, the two big men had an impressive matchup.

Morrissey lost in his debut effort after taking a monstrous powerbomb from Wardlow who got the pinfall victory and then went on to assault an untold number of security guards sent after him by MJF.

Alluded to last week on Dynamite, MJF hopped on his phone to make a call, offer the unnamed “big man” on the other end of the line “six figures for one match,” and then as he got off the phone, informed Wardlow he would be facing a man who is smarter, stronger and taller than him and ended with a signature catchphrase of non-other than the former WWE star, Big Cass.

Recently wrestling for IMPACT as W. Morrissey, the former Big Cass, real name William Morrissey, most recently appeared for the promotion at Impact Rebellion which aired this past weekend.

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will see another IMPACT! crossover with the arrival of Deonna Purrazzo.
