WWE Raw commentator Wade Barrett has reacted to the “magic starting to wane” with former World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre.
On the September 9 edition of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre addressed his attack on CM Punk the week prior.
After claiming Punk was done, McIntyre then directed his ire at his friend and Raw commentator Wade Barrett about getting in his way during the attack.
On September 10, Drew McIntyre took to social media to comment on being in the ring with Bret “The Hitman” Hart during the Raw episode from Calgary. He wrote:
Best there is, was & ever will be.
The magic of working with @BretHart will never wear off. #WWERaw
In a separate post, Barrett reacted to McIntyre confronting him during the show. He wrote:
The magic of working with @DMcIntyreWWE has started to wane, however. #WWERaw
After the confrontation, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that McIntyre will face CM Punk in a Hell In A Cell Match on Saturday, October 5 at WWE Bad Blood.
