It is looking more and more likely that former NXT UK Champion WALTER could be open to making a move to the United States.
One of the big reasons WALTER hasn’t moved to the US yet is out of his own choice, as he didn’t want to leave Europe, notably because he wanted to stay there with his wife.
However, WALTER and fellow NXT UK wrestler Jinny have been sharing photos and messages on social media that have made it very clear that they’re dating, and confirmation has since emerged that WALTER has split from his wife.
This means he no longer has his wife as a reason to stay in Europe, and there is talk that he’s now more open to a US move because of that.
Obviously he’d probably want to stay with Jinny, but there’s no reason why WWE couldn’t move her to the US too unless she’d specifically be against that.
WALTER worked several matches against main roster talent on the WWE UK tour over the past few days, including a singles match against Cesaro, and a tag match with Sheamus against Cesaro and Drew McIntyre.
That could (emphasis on the could) be evidence that WWE is possibly looking at a main roster move, but at the very least, we’re now more likely than ever before to see him on NXT 2.0 permanently.
You’d think he wouldn’t really fit in on NXT 2.0, but Imperium did just win the brand’s tag team championship, so who knows. Where would you rather see him end up?
Yes, WALTER and Jinny are dating and now there's talk that he may be open to working more in the United States. WWE has wanted this (working in the U.S.) for a long time. pic.twitter.com/CbbkrvQrnN
