Wardlow Calls Time Working With MJF ‘Not Enjoyable’ AEW

AEW star Wardlow has addressed his former boss Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

MJF hasn’t been seen on AEW television since his scathing promo directed at Tony Khan on the June 1 edition of Dynamite.

Prior to that episode, Friedman had his last match against Wardlow at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in the blow-off of their near-three year storyline.

Speaking with Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Wardlow discussed MJF and how working with him became stressful.

He said:

“Honestly, I shouldn’t even give this subject the time of day, and I really don’t care to, but I do understand — people gotta understand, we were together for three years. He was the first three years of my career, he was a big part of my career. So if anybody is allowed to touch on this subject, it probably is me. I’ll just say this, he’s not a good person. He really is a piece of s***. It was not enjoyable working with him. He put me through more stress than anything and his behavior inside of the business and outside of the business is unacceptable. But that’s all I’m gonna say about that.”

This isn’t the first time the AEW star has addressed his former employer. He recently spoke about MJF in another interview where he discussed his pipebomb promo and absence.

Wardlow will face Scorpio Sky in a Street Fight for the TNT Championship on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
