Wardlow answered a challenge on tonight’s (August 3) edition of AEW Dynamite after heading out to the ring to interrupt a post-match beat down.
On tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite there were multiple big matches and angles as the AEW roster kicked off a big week of action.
After Jay Lethal was able to pick up the pinfall victory against Orange Cassidy in the opening match of the night, a new challenge was laid out.
Jay Lethal challenged Wardlow for a TNT Championship match on Saturday at Battle of the Belts, and after welcoming the crowd to Wardlow’s World, Wardlow accepted.
Other matches set for Battle of the Belts on Saturday, August 6 are Claudio Castagnoli defending the ROH World Title against Konosuke Takeshita, and Thunder Rosa defending the AEW Women’s World Title against Jamie Hayter.
Elsewhere on the show, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho confirmed their battle at Quake By The Lake after Wheeler Yuta tapped out to Jericho’s Liontamer, a shocking betrayal and an update on the little boy shown sobbing during that aforementioned betrayal and Max Caster finally got his chance to comment on Vince McMahon.
Wardlow is currently 16-2-0 in wins/losses so far in 2022. You can check out all of the win/loss records for the AEW men’s roster by clicking here.
