Wardlow has commented on the return of MJF to AEW and teased their unfinished business despite MJF appearing to have entered a new era.
After MJF returned during tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing 2024 pay-per-view, former ally-turned-foe Wardlow has reacted.
Taking to social media after the return, Wardlow shared his seemingly candid thoughts on MJF’s latest era.
Wardlow wrote on Twitter:
“He wants to be 6’3 270lbs so bad. And now calling himself the wolf 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 keep dreaming little buddy 🐺 #AEWDoN”
The Double or Nothing history is significant between MJF and Wardlow as it was two years ago that controversy in Las Vegas surrounded their match that opened the night.
Fast forwarding quite some time, it was revealed that Wardlow was a member of the Undisputed Kingdom faction that targeted MJF during his AEW World Championship reign.
In the return segment today, MJF beat down the leader of the group, his former best friend Adam Cole, for having betrayed him.
