Just under two weeks ago following Crown Jewel, the majority of the WWE roster was left stranded in Saudi Arabia for nearly 48 hours.
While WWE insisted that the delay was caused by a “mechanical issue” with the plane, reports have emerged suggesting that it was actually due to a financial dispute between Vince McMahon and the government.
Earlier today, The Young Bucks released the latest episode of Being The Elite. The episode gives fans a small insight into what it was like backstage at Full Gear over the weekend.
During the video, The Young Bucks poked fun at WWE’s disastrous travel situation in Saudi Arabia a few weeks back.
During the clip, Nick says that he is worried about “a hostage situation.” He would then go on to say that he was stuck in a “lawless desert” and “might not be able to see [his] kids again”.
This is clearly The Young Bucks having some fun at the expense of WWE over what was actually a rather worrying situation.
Many people have criticised members of the AEW roster for making fun of WWE. However, I find these skits and jabs rather amusing and harmless.
