Last night to close out Friday Night Smackdown on FOX, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg and Triple H lead NXT out to brawl with Raw and Smackdown.
The chaotic brawl served as the go-home segment for this weekend’s Raw vs. NXT vs. Smackdown edition of the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
After the show went off the air, the live crowd in Chicago were treated to an awesome promo segment from the present members of D-Generation X.
WWE uploaded the clip to YouTube, showing Road Dogg, Shawn Michaels and Triple H all attacking King Corbin after the show.
This was a great way to get the Chicago crowd hyped for Survivor Series weekend. Many of the members of the audience last night will likely also be going to NXT TakeOver: War Games III, Survivor Series and Monday Night Raw over the next three days.
The segment worked pretty well. While you can say that it was down to DX, you have to give some props to Corbin for playing the role of the annoying heel so well.
