At this past weekend’s Survivor Series, we once again got a glimmer of the sort of thing Drew McIntyre is capable of, when the Scottish Psychopath eliminated WALTER from the men’s elimination match.
Drew is undoubtedly one of WWE’s biggest stars, even if he isn’t being pushed that way. His size, hair and the fact that he’s Scottish instantly makes him one of the company’s most impressive heels.
He really ought to have been in more title feud by now, but has had to make do with a single lacklustre run as Raw tag champion with Dolph Ziggler.
However, last night’s post-Raw dark match could suggest that Drew is in for more of a push going forward.
McIntyre took on The Fiend Bray Wyatt inside a steel cage, as you can see below.

As you can see, people seemed to enjoy the match a lot, and although by all accounts McIntyre was squashed, it still suggests that WWE sees Drew as a big star, putting him in this slot.
