Former WWE Raw commentator and current NXT talent Dio Maddin hasn’t forgotten about what WWE Champion Brock Lesnar did to him a couple of months ago.
As a refresher, on the November 4 episode of Raw, Lesnar F5’d Maddin through the announcers’ desk which wrote him off TV, and he never returned to the commentary position.
Now back in NXT as an in-ring performer, Maddin had some strong words regarding Lesnar and his own career at last night’s house show in Orlando:
“I had the opportunity a couple of months ago to talk about the job I wanted to do, and I had a wake up call when Brock Lesnar – and I’m gonna call a spade a spade – put me through a table. And a lesser man would press charges, but Dio Maddin is no lesser man. Dio Maddin went home, he looked himself in the mirror, he went and looked in the faces of his three beautiful daughters, and I told them ‘never again’. Dio Maddin isn’t about talking. Dio Maddin is about that action. And that action is laying a stack of bodies until I get where I’m trying to go.”

Some fans were calling for Maddin to be the number two entrant in the Royal Rumble, and although the chances are extremely slim, the thought of an eventual Lesnar vs. Maddin match has me very intrigued indeed.
