Watch Renee Young Cut A Promo On Fans Insulting Her Commentary (VIDEO)

Last night we saw (or at least whoever watched it saw) the debut of WWE Backstage on FS1, the new show hosted by Renee Young and Booker T, featuring special wrestling guests and kayfabe.

Young has taken the role of presenter in her stride after she was politely bumped off commentary, and it’s already clear that she is much more comfortable and accomplished in her new role.

During her time as commentator on Raw, Young received her fair share of criticism, much of which was completely uncalled for, given that she was clearly being fed lines by someone backstage.

She has personally admitted that she took time to get used to wrestling commentary, which is easily one of the hardest sports broadcasting jobs on the planet given the nature of what is being commentated on.

To end last night’s show, Young was finally given the opportunity to retaliate to all the criticism in a bizarre promo in which she boasted about having “all that FOX money baby”.

It’s a far cry from the awkward noises and squeaks she was often reduced to on commentary, and long may it continue.

She is easily one of WWE’s most talented out of ring performers, and it’s great to see her get her mojo back.
