On last night’s NXT, Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the NXT Championship for the first time, in what is being viewed as a real passing of the torch moment for NXT.
Bron’s father, wrestling legend Rick Steiner, was in attendance for the match, and entered the ring after the final bell to celebrate with his son.
Ciampa gave Breakker an approving nod after the match, presumably indicating his time in the NXT title scene is over for the time being.

Rick also shook hands with Ciampa after the match, again a sign that Bron is now viewed as the standard bearer for NXT 2.0’s new set of younger stars.
