Watch Roman Reigns Tear Up Fan’s Cody Rhodes Sign After RAW (VIDEO) WWE

Following this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns and the Usos took on Drew McIntyre and the New Day in a six-man tag match, which was won by Drew Day.

During the show itself, new WWE star Cody Rhodes, who had his first match on Raw since 2016, teased that he was aiming to defeat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship at some point, and Roman appears to be trying to tease that match too.

As you can see from the video below which was posted on Twitter, Roman steals a Cody Rhodes sign from a fan, and then proceeds to rip it up, before handing it back to Jey Uso, who tosses the two halves into the crowd.

Cody made an appearance on last week’s episode of The Bump, where he heaped praise on Roman for everything he has been able to achieve while Cody was wrestling…elsewhere.

He said:

“I think it’s a feather in the cap of what Roman Reigns is doing. When I left here, Roman Reigns was on top, and I think Roman Reigns was experiencing some of the negative byproducts of being on top, some of the pushback that a new face and a new individual (experiences). But the thing that makes a new champion in any company, in anything, is consistency.

“And when he said ‘Dallas, Texas, acknowledge me,’ and whether they’re supposed to boo, cheer, whatever that might be, they acknowledged him. You want to know a term that’s often really overused in what we do? It’s ‘over.’ ‘Oh, this guy is so over. He’s so over.’ No, over is years and years and years of work where fans follow you.”

WWE appears to be building to Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Roman Reigns for WrestleMania Backlash, but perhaps a Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns match is next on the list.
