Watch Xavier Woods Pay Tribute To Mickie James In Guitar Performance (VIDEO)

The New Day’s Xavier Woods has paid homage to Mickie James after her WWE release with a touching guitar performance.

From her WWE departure to the trash bag incident, these last couple of weeks have been emotional for Mickie James. Xavier Woods recently lifted James’ spirits, performing a rendition of her WWE theme song on the guitar.

Woods posted the video to his Twitter, tagging the former Women’s Champion.

Mickie James was touched by her friend’s tribute, tweeting:

“This is everything” (crying emoji)

James was released on April 15, along with a number of other WWE performers. In a recent interview, James described her last few years in WWE as “comfortably uncomfortable“, before stating that she is looking towards the future.

Mojo Rawley was also one of the names recently let go by WWE. His former tag team partner, Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) has addressed rumors of a future Hype Bros reunion.
