# ‘We Need To Have A Dialogue’ – AEW Star Sends Message To Tony Khan

An AEW star has called for “a dialogue” with Tony Khan following the controversial finish to his latest match.

Following last week’s “Slam Dunk” weekend, AEW Collision returned to it’s typical live Saturday night time slot on TNT for the March 28 episode – a show which was headlined by an AEW International Championship clash between Kazuchika Okada and Kevin Knight.

With the pair no stranger to each other lately following many battles between JetSpeed and The Don Callis Family, Knight looked to ensure that Okada would be without gold in AEW for the first time since March 2024.

Okada’s controversial actions in the closing moments of his match ensured that his reign as AEW International Champion continued however, as “The Rainmaker” used the middle rope as leverage on a roll up pin on Knight to retain his gold.

Following the match, AEW President Tony Khan took to [Twitter](https://x.com/TonyKhan/status/2038109743718273299) to heap praise on the performances from Knight and Okada, without mention of the nature of the latter’s victory.

He wrote:

*Thank you all who watched Saturday #AEWCollision on TNT or HBO Max TONIGHT!*

*I thought that it was an exciting show tonight with a tremendous main event: International Champion @rainmakerXokada vs @Jet2Flyy!*

*If you didn’t see it, it’s on BOTH: @TNTdrama West & HBO Max, RIGHT NOW!*

This post caught the attention of Knight, who, while appreciative of Khan’s appreciation, insisted that a “dialogue” was needed between he and his boss.

*I appreciate the appreciation boss but Okada can’t get away with this one. We need to have a #Dialogue*

## Kazuchika Okada vs. Kevin Knight Rematch At AEW Dynasty 2026?

Some fans in the comments called for AEW to book a rematch between Okada and Knight at AEW Dynasty 2026 – which is just around the corner on April 12.

With his tag team partner Speedball Mike Bailey recently pursuing Okada’s Don Callis Family teammate Kyle Fletcher and his TNT Championship, perhaps we could see Knight also get a crack at winning his first AEW singles title at Dynasty?

With two weeks until AEW Dynasty, and only three matches official at the time of writing, expect more bouts to be announced at a rapid pace between now and then.

## If Not Okada Then Who?

While Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey may pursue singles gold at AEW Dynasty, they do also still have another route in the form of the AEW World Trios Championships.

Bailey, Knight and AEW’s newest signee Mistico won the gold from Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis at AEW Revolution, and have since defended the gold successfully against another trio from The Don Callis Family: El Clon, Josh Alexander & Konosuke Takeshita.

With Josh Alexander now out of action with injury as a result of this match, and the likes of Fletcher and Okada busy defending their own gold (and eyeing up other titles), it seems as if a new trio outside of The Don Callis Family may be the next to step up and challenge for the AEW Trios Titles if they are to be defended at [Dynasty.](https://wrestletalk.com/?s=dynasty)
