Westin Blake Debut Announced For August 23 AEW Dark

Former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Westin Blake (fka Wesley Blake) will make his AEW debut on the August 23 edition of Dark.

Blake wrestled during the August 21 Dark tapings. AEW has confirmed that his match against Daniel Garcia will air on this week’s episode.

Blake notably won the NXT Tag Team Title in 2015 with Buddy Matthews (Murphy), who currently wrestles for AEW as part of the House of Black.

He eventually moved to the WWE main roster as part of the Forgotten Sons faction before his release in April 2021.

Other notable names announced for the episode include Anthony Ogogo, Blake Christian and Max Caster.
