WWE will soon be moving out of Tropicana Field, which has been the home of the Thunderdome these last few months. With the move on the horizon, we now know what the performers are able to hear when they compete in the venue.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has released a new report after talking to wrestlers who have competed in the Thunderdome. The report states that WWE pipes in the noise to the building, not just the broadcast. This means that the stars can hear what the audience hears and are not just wrestling in silence.
WWE introduced the Thunderdome just prior to SummerSlam last year. The Thunderdome’s venue at the time was the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, before they eventually moved to Tropicana Field in Tampa.
Before the Thunderdome’s introduction, WWE was airing their shows out of a mostly empty Performance Center.
