What Happened With Oba Femi Following WWE NXT Return

Here is what happened following Oba Femi’s WWE NXT return in the closing moments of last night’s episode of the show.

Oba Femi had not been seen on WWE television since the NXT No Mercy event back in September, where he was defeated by Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship.

Following his loss, Oba had only been appearing on NXT Live events as speculation emerged about a potential call up to the WWE main roster, but it seems he is not done with NXT just yet.

Following Ricky’s NXT Championship defence over Trick Williams, Oba Femi’s music hit, with his return being teased as the show went off the air.

Taking to social media today, WWE shared the full segment of Oba’s return that didn’t air on last night’s NXT, which showed him making his way to ring to confront Ricky, before referees came out to prevent the two getting physical.

It seems that Oba will face off against Ricky once again for the NXT Championship, likely at the upcoming NXT Deadline premium live event in December.
