More follow-up news is coming to light regarding the Vince McMahon allegations that surfaced via the Wall Street Journal yesterday.
It has been alleged that Vince came to an agreement to pay a “hush pact” of $3 million to an ex-employee he’s believed to have had an affair with which bars her from talking about their relationship.

One of the key parts of the story is that WWE’s and Vince McMahon’s lawyer Jerry McDevitt stated that no company money was involved in the agreements, which would mean it was $3 million of McMahon’s personal money.
However one of the claims made was that the ex-employee received a salary increase from $100,000 to $200,000 after she’d engaged in a sexual relationship with McMahon.
If that part is true, then that means company money WAS involved, and that could be a very big issue. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that people in WWE see that as potentially the “most damaging” issue out of everything.
We will continue to provide more details on this story as they emerge. You can find all further updates at this link.
