Triple H has been in charge of the creative in WWE for two months now, and reports have emerged that backstage morale in the company has improved since Triple H took over.
Many of the current WWE main roster stars came through the NXT system and worked under Triple H for many years before arriving on the WWE main roster, including former Raw Tag Team Champions Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of the Street Profits.
Dawkins recently spoke to USA Network’s USA Insider, where he discussed Triple H taking over the company, and how he credits him for putting the Street Profits together when he and Ford were still in NXT.
Dawkins also explained what Triple H says to them before they go out to perform.
He said:
“Man, we like it. The Street Profits, we always have fun no matter what, but we’ve had Triple H with us. He was the one that pretty much put the Street Profits together. So we’re used to Triple H in a way. I’ve had him for 10 years in NXT! But yeah, Triple H is awesome and is always in our ear just telling us to be ourselves and all that good stuff and to go out there and have fun and make sure we go out there and do what we do best and get the crowd pumped.”
There has been a lot of speculation about a potential split between Dawkins and Ford in recent months. Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has spoken about how these rumours don’t bother Ford.
