What Wardlow Has Been Told Regarding Shocking MJF AEW Double Or Nothing Situation AEW

UPDATE: Find out whether MJF actually boarded the flight at this link.

Here’s the latest on the shocking news of MJF no-showing a meet & greet and potentially doing the same for the AEW Double Or Nothing PPV.

MJF genuinely no-showed the appearance and was spotted playing slots in the Mandalay Bay casino and wasn’t picking up his phone. He’s also booked on a red-eye flight to Newark, New Jersey that leaves within the next few hours.

During a breaking news show for Fightful, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about whether he’s contacted Tony Khan, MJF and Wardlow about the situation.

He said he’s contacted Khan but didn’t hear back. He’s contacted MJF and did hear back, but it wasn’t about the situation itself. But it is kind of a story in itself that he did respond.

When asked if he’d contacted Wardlow, Sapp said he hasn’t because he knows “for a fact” that Wardlow has been told not to talk about the situation.

Sapp was able to confirm that none of this is because of a physical issue with MJF. So, if you were thinking he might have been injured or something, that’s not the case. It’s almost a certainty that it stems from the ongoing issues between him and Tony Khan/AEW originating from a contract dispute.

We will of course be keeping you updated on the situation and whether MJF actually boards the aforementioned flight, so keep checking back to WrestleTalk.com for all the latest.
