Blackpool Combat Club member Wheeler Yuta has praised MJF, calling him a ‘fountain of untapped potential’.
MJF is set to challenge for Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship at the November 18 Full Gear pay-per-view. The star has made headlines numerous times this year with his gripping promos, and post-Double or Nothing absence.
Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show’s ‘MackMania’, Wheeler Yuta was asked what he thinks of MJF.
Yuta joked at first, saying:
“Ah man, I should’ve saved ‘real piece of s**t’ for Maxwell. Man, can I change my answer?”
The rising star then shared his honest thoughts, noting that he believes that the best of MJF is still to come. Yuta said:
“I’ll say, I just think a fountain of untapped potential. I think he’s only just getting to the bare surface of what he can do in pro wrestling. I think he’s just gonna keep growing.”
MJF notably wrestled Yuta on the October 5 edition of Rampage. This is the only match MJF has wrestled since winning the Casino Ladder match at All Out in September.
By winning this ladder match, MJF was awarded a poker chip that he cashed in for his upcoming title bout.
