Wheeler Yuta Responds To NJPW Star Calling Him Out AEW

AEW star Wheeler Yuta has responded to a NJPW star who called him out.

At ROH Death Before Dishonor, Wheeler Yuta defeated Daniel Garcia to retain the ROH Pure Championship.

Yuta then joined his Blackpool Combat Club teammate and new ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli along with William Regal to stare down the ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR to close the show.

On social media, NJPW star Robbie Eagles replied to the show, saying:

@WheelerYuta retains at @ringofhonor #DeathBeforeDishonor
Then closes out the PPV by challenging for the tag titles?? Nice to know you’re still ducking my owed Pure Championship Match 😉
#YutaFearsEagles

Eagles defeated Yuta in the NJPW Best of Super Juniors Tournament in May and then challenged him to a ROH Pure Championship Match, which Wheeler accepted.

In response to the tweet, the AEW star wrote the following:

Don’t worry man, I remember. I’m over in the states waiting!

The Blackpool Combat Club is now in possession of three different titles with Yuta as the ROH Pure Champion, Castagnoli as ROH World Champion and Jon Moxley as the Interim AEW World Champion.

The stable will be getting even stronger as Bryan Danielson will return to in-ring action against Daniel Garcia on the July 27 Fight For The Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite.
