It has been widely reported due to the planned restart of the NBA, WWE is looking to move out of the Amway Center and into a new location for their weekly Raw and SmackDown shows.
This would not mean WWE is looking to bring fans back. The idea is to present WWE shows in the same way they have been since August with the ThunderDome, just from another location.
A new report from PWInsider has revealed the exact date WWE must move out of the ThunderDome, and it leaves the company just four weeks to find a suitable venue for their shows for the next few months:
The company’s production team currrently needs to clear out the venue no later than 12/5 due to The Orlando Magic needing the facility as the NBA is hoping to launch their next season during that time frame.
WWE needs to move out of the Amway Center by December 5th. This means the last show that will be at the ThunderDome will likely be the December 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
However, it is possible that WWE moves out of the Amway Center before that date if they have found a suitable location. For any potential updates, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
