News On Which Night Some WrestleMania Matches Are Set For

Some more details on the nights that some WrestleMania 39 matches are scheduled for have now been revealed.

As of writing there have been 12 matches officially announced for the April 1-2 event. Of these, only two bouts have been given official dates.

Seth Rollins vs Logan Paul has been announced for WrestleMania 39 Saturday (April 1), and Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes will headline WrestleMania Sunday (April 2).

Out of the matches remaining, a new report has revealed when several of them will take place.

Per PWInsider, the Edge vs Finn Balor Hell in a Cell match will take place on the Saturday. The report also noted that there have been discussions about having the currently unannounced Rey vs Dominik Mysterio match on this night too.

There has been talk about having several notable matches on the Sunday, including the matches for the Intercontinental Championship, Raw Women’s Title and the Trish Stratus, Lita & Becky Lynch vs Damage CTRL bout.

PWInsider noted that the process is still fluid, so the Hell in a Cell bout being on the Saturday is the most certain of all of these.

At the show of shows, GUNTHER will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

The Raw Women’s Title bout will see Bianca Belair put her gold on the line against Asuka.
