The next challenger for Roman Reigns and his WWE Universal Championship looks likely to be revealed on SmackDown this Friday.
Reigns picked up a clean win over WWE Champion Big E at Survivor Series this past Sunday, asserting him as the top champion in the company.
WWE has posted a teaser on social media ahead of this coming Friday’s SmackDown asking who will be brave enough to step up to Roman Reigns.
Featured in the video, so seemingly potential challengers, are:
- Drew McIntyre
- Cesaro
- Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss
- Jinder Mahal
- Sheamus
- Jeff Hardy
- King Woods & Kofi Kingston
After his impressive showing at Survivor Series, Jeff Hardy would probably be the most likely option on the SmackDown roster right now, but Drew McIntyre was clearly drafted to SmackDown with the goal of a feud with Roman Reigns in mind.
