Who Could Take Over From Vince McMahon Booking WWE? WWE

There are a lot of questions right now surrounding the allegations that surfaced yesterday involving WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

It has been alleged that Vince came to an agreement to pay a “hush pact” of $3 million to an ex-employee he’s believed to have had an affair with which bars her from talking about their relationship.

One of the biggest questions is, if this does spell the end of Vince in his current position in WWE, who would take over?

Well, talking about specifically booking the shows, Dave Meltzer brought up two names on Wrestling Observer Radio – Paul Levesque (Triple H), and Bruce Prichard.

He said:

“If something happens to Vince, who ends up in charge? It might be Levesque. Two days ago I would have said no chance, and look, you still have to deal with the fact that Paul Levesque has a very serious heart issue, and this is an incredibly, incredibly, incredibly stressful position that he probably shouldn’t be doing.

“Other things could happen to Vince, Vince is not a young man, and the succession of this company has been in question ever since really Paul Levesque failed with NXT. Since then it’s been like, ‘Well who’s gonna be the guy?’.

“The guy, in theory, is Bruce Prichard. And Bruce is not a young man and Bruce has had heart issues too. I do know people within the company who were just like, ‘Bruce could not handle this’. But, he would be the guy. Right now he’s the number two guy in that division.”
