The WrestleMania 37 main event between Edge, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns went off without a hitch. Now, we know who was involved in the creative direction of the storyline.
A new report from Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided several details regarding the angle. Paul Heyman was said to have been heavily involved in orchestrating the storyline. However, it was also noted that it was a collaborative effort with Edge and Daniel Bryan also involved.
The report states that Heyman’s involvement was similar to his involvement with Brock Lesnar. That being that much of the creative involving the storyline is filtered through him.
Fightful also noted that the match went over well backstage. Roman Reigns has reportedly gotten rave reviews for his performances as well.
It had previously been reported that Michael Hayes had been the credited producer of the WrestleMania match.
Roman Reigns ultimately won the WrestleMania Triple Threat match, retaining the Universal Championship in the process. He pinned both Edge and Bryan simultaneously to win the match.
