Wrestling fans were left confused during last night’s Money In The Bank event, when a mysterious vignette played on the show, teasing the arrival or return of a WWE star.
Fans naturally began speculating immediately, with names like Bray Wyatt, Gable Steveson, Edge and Solo Sikoa being thrown around.
Those of you that speculated Edge may have hit the nail on the head. Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the working plan is for the videos to represent Edge, with several references to his great rivals from the past.
Edge was removed from the Judgment Day several weeks ago on Raw, and has not appeared on WWE TV since.
