Dominik Mysterio made his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam on Sunday, and we now know who helped put his match with Seth Rollins together.
Mysterio was a guest on the Gorilla Position podcast where he discussed his debut, working with Rollins, and more.
On who helped piece the match together, he said:
“I think it had to do with a little bit of everybody, Seth, my dad, Jamie Noble, my mom. My mom, she doesn’t mind watching me. She didn’t enjoy watching me getting beat with the kendo stick. She didn’t watch it. She watched the first two hits and then she was done. The fact she was able to sit there and watch the match is pretty cool.”
It’s known that Noble does a lot of work with Rollins behind the scenes, and produced the Eye for an Eye match against Rey Mysterio too.
Dominik Mysterio also spoke about whether he was pleased with his performance, saying:
“No, mainly because everyone was telling me I should be very proud of myself. I’m very nit picky. I probably always will be just because I will always try to give my 1000% out there. ‘Of course, there are little things here and there I wished I could have done better. But, everyone told me I should be proud of myself. I try not to look at the bad things and the bad comments but try to realize what I did was something crazy I debuted at SummerSlam at the Thunderdome during a pandemic with Seth Rollins. I’m very blessed and very thankful.”
