Who Wants To Clean Up The Competition?

Having yearned to sign The Elite in recent months, one hopes Vince McMahon is listening. This could be the closest he ever gets to work with the outstanding star. Your writer is as sure as he’s ever been that neither of the trio will join the company on a permanent basis, but a special WWE vs NJPW event would be exceptional for everyone.

It’s not circulating the realms of impossibility either.

WWE have loosened their stance on profiling talent from elsewhere lately, as The Elite vs The New Day at E3 – which was heavily featured by the wrestling giants – proves that.

Preparing to do battle with the smooth Cody on July 7th, Kenny was promoted on which WWE stars he would like to do battle with:

“If I could work with Seth Rollins at some point in time that would be a lot of fun. The huge name amongst all that is AJ Styles. I’d love to work with him at some point. I’d like to be able to do it when I can still move, you know what I mean?”

Sometimes in professional wrestling things happen without notice and if this little prompt by arguably the hottest talent in the world today gives the McMahon machine a shove in the right direction, then all the better. Just don’t hold your breath. A blue hue never suited human skin.

What are your thoughts on Kenny Omega working with WWE talent? Would you be for a WWE co-promoted event with another league? Come and join the conversation on Twitter and Discord where we’re waiting to hear your views.
