AEW officially announced Britt Baker will not be wrestling tomorrow night at AEW: Double or Nothing. Baker appears to have suffered a torn ACL and will be out 6-9 months to recover.
There’s never a good time to get injured, but for Baker, the injury comes at an absolutely horrible time. Not only has she really found her stride as a character, she had a big singles match at Double or Nothing.
However, as the saying goes, the show must go on. AEW has officially announced who will be replacing Baker on the pay-per-view.
. @RealBrittBaker is out of #AEWDon due to injury. We will address her status at Double or Nothing tomorrow night. @callmekrisstat will now face @thePenelopeFord Live on Pay Per View.

Due to the injury, Penelope Ford will be stepping in for Baker. Ford is a really good choice to replace Baker.
She is very athletic and could pull off a really good match with Statlander. So far, there have been no official announcements on the other injuries suffered during Wednesday’s dynamite.
Matt Jackson is expected to wrestle. Fenix may be a last-minute scratch or he may be very limited in the match tomorrow night.
