Why Bella Twins Returned To WWE Women’s Tag Team Division WWE

WWE Hall of Famers the Bella Twins have commented on why they’re so excited to work in the current women’s tag team division.

Bella Twins Back In WWE

After both being absent since the 2022 Royal Rumble, Nikki Bella returned to WWE at the 2025 Rumble, and Brie returned just over a week ago in the 2026 Rumble.

Now, the Bellas are reunited and have stated their intentions to join the women’s tag team division and chase the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship currently held by IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.

Nikki Bella Explains Women’s Tag Team Title Interest

On the Nikki & Brie Show, the Bellas explained why they’re so looking forward to getting back involved, with Nikki saying:

“We’ve been with WWE almost 20 years. I have never seen the tag division – and when people say ‘so stacked,’ not just with the talent, but it’s the meaning why everyone’s together, it’s the foundation of why these tag teams are together. The story and equity they have behind each other, it’s so fun already.

“I’m excited. I wanna work all of them. I wanna do something with Charlotte and Lexi. I wanna do something with Nia and Lash. I wanna do something with Bayley and Lyra. I wanna do something with the Kabuki Warriors. Of course, I wanna do something with Rhea and IYO.

“It makes it so exciting, and what I also like, it doesn’t feel like we need to be in a rush – and we’re not in a rush.”
