The reason that Bianca Belair has been off WWE TV after being moved from NXT to Raw after WrestleMania a couple of months ago has been revealed.
Belair was brought in to join her real-life husband Montez Ford and his tag partner Angelo Dawkins in Street Profits segments, but hasn’t been seen for a while now.
Dave Meltzer posted an update on her status on the Wrestling Observer forums, writing that her removal from TV was just a creative decision as WWE decided being with the Street Profits wasn’t the best thing for her to be doing:
“She was introduced. Then somebody decided on wacky skits she didn’t fit in. So they didn’t put her on TV because she wasn’t in any program. Now it’s a new cycle and we’ll see.”
Bianca Belair is undoubtedly one of the best athletes on the WWE roster, and hopefully she’ll be used as such on the main roster like she was in NXT.
She’s only wrestled once on Raw which was a win over Santana Garrett on April 20. She then beat Catalina on Main Event the following week, then picked up wins over Ruby Riott on Main Event on May 11 and May 25.
