Why Bruce Prichard Can Continue 3rd Party Projects Revealed

As you probably know by now, WWE is slamming down on talent doing their own third party projects, but one man who can continue is Bruce Prichard.

Prichard serves as the Executive Director of both Raw and SmackDown, but has kept going with his Something to Wrestle podcast.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that, although Prichard is an employee (not an independent contractor), he was adamant that he wanted to be able to continue with it when he signed a contract.

Vince McMahon agreed, as long as Prichard didn’t talk about the current WWE product on it.

A new WWE job listing suggests that the company is looking to launch its own Twitch streams. Zelina Vega was released from her contract this past Friday seemingly because she disagreed with the company’s third party policy.

Since then, SAG-AFTRA (the largest labor union in the US) have said they are “committed to doing what we can to help professional wrestlers secure the protections they deserve”.
