Both Kenny Omega and Nick Jackson were off tv this week for AEW Dynamite. While both of their tag partners made an appearance, Omega and Jackson were absent.
The Elite was involved in a brawl with the Inner Circle on the show. Every member of the Elite besides Omega and Jackson was involved and the segment concluded with Hangman Page flipping off Matt Jackson.
Now, we know why both were off the show. As reported on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Omega is off nursing a broken finger and Nick Jackson is at home awaiting the birth of his third child.
Omega suffered the injury during his match at Revolution. It was not noted how he suffered the injury but Meltzer mentioned that he should be able to compete with a cast. It was also noted that Jackson would be off television until his child was born and likely sometime after that.
