Will Ospreay’s opponent for the upcoming AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view has been confirmed on tonight’s Dynamite.
After a few weeks away, Ospreay made a comeback at the end of last week’s Dynamite and followed up with an appearance tonight.
While he was away, Kyle Fletcher had made it clear he wanted to distance himself from Ospreay and even went as far as shaving his own head in an attempt to end the comparisons.
Fletcher had betrayed Ospreay at WrestleDream to help Konosuke Takeshita win the AEW International Championship.
Tonight, Ospreay entered the ring and called out Fletcher for a confrontation.
Their verbal exchange led to Fletcher challenge Ospreay to a one-on-one match at Full Gear, which Ospreay accepted.
When Fletcher brought out fellow Don Callis Family members Lance Archer and Brian Cage in an attempt to outnumber Ospreay, Ospreay revealed he had backup of his own in the form of Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs, leading to a big three-on-three-brawl.
AEW Full Gear 2024 takes place on Saturday, November 23 in Newark, New Jersey.
