Will Ospreay Wins The IWGP United States Title At NJPW Dominion

Another new champion is crowned at NJPW Dominion event.

During today’s Dominion show in Osaka, Will Ospreay defeated SANADA to win the vacant IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

Ospreay has now won the IWGP World Heavyweight, Junior Heavyweight, NEVER Openweight and United States Heavyweight Championships. He is the first British star to do so.

The IWGP U.S. Title was vacated by Juice Robinson, following his appendix injury that forced him to miss today’s show.

This follows Ospreay and The United Empire showing up on this week’s AEW Dynamite. The group then lost to FTR and Trent Baretta on AEW Rampage.

It remains to be seen who Will Ospreay will face at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event on June 26.

This was the third championship to change hands on the Dominion event, including the NEVER Openweight and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
