TMZ recently interviewed Travis Browne, husband of Ronda Rousey. Browne is a UFC heavyweight fighter who has posted a mixed martial arts record of 18-7-1. When asked about his wife, who has become a massive WWE star over the course of 2018, he said that Ronda has taken over wrestling the way she took over the octagon, and that he couldn’t be more proud.
Browne was asked if he himself had any interest in a WWE career after seeing what his wife was able to do. He seemed open to the possibility, suggesting he could form a mixed tag-team with Ronda:
“I’ll never say no to the possibility of going out there and wrestling. I’d love to go out there and work with my wife.”
Browne, at 6’7” and 255lbs, posesses great size for pro wrestling. He has lost his past four fights, which has led some to think his MMA career is winding down. One such person was UFC president Dana White, who said he thinks Travis ‘should retire,’ after his most recent loss.
When asked if he would like to see his wife return to UFC someday, Browne said:
“You know, to be honest with you, I love seeing her happy, and I’ve never seen her more happy than right now. She’s really enjoying what she does, and I wouldn’t change that for the world.”
