Will WWE’s Latest Faction Soon Be Complete?

The Four Horsewomen of MMA have all finally made it to WWE.

It had been rumored since Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut that the Four Horsewomen would all get their time to shine in the company. As of WWE‘s announcement on May 7, it looks like we are another step closer to that becoming a reality.

Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke have officially reported to the performance center in Orlando.

Given the excellent transition that both Rousey and Baszler have made into professional wrestling, we can expect great things from the newest additions. The only risk inherent is that WWE push too hard to get the faction together, and Shafir and Duke aren’t given the same amount of time and attention as Rousey and Bazler have enjoyed.

The announcement recognizes the new talents of Shafir and Duke as being Four Horsewomen teammates of Rousey and Baszler, implying that the company will be pushing in the direction of creating a female faction with the group. This is likely to lead towards a match between the Four Horsewomen of WWE – Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch.

The seeds for the factions feuding were set at the Mae Young Classic, where the eight women came face-to-face in a backstage promo. However, Rousey and Baszler have been, wisely, kept apart – and the WWE Women are split across the brands.

It is unlike WWE to stick to any long-term booking, however they can hopefully hold on to the plans for these eight women long enough for a strong PPV event down the line.

While it is obvious that the blow-off from any big feud would pay off at one of the big four events, there are some fantastic options available beyond the obvious choice of Wrestlemania.Survivor Series elimination match is certainly an exciting prospect.
