William Regal Impressed By Mance Warner AEW Debut AEW/MLW

William Regal impressed by a recent AEW debut.

On the August 5 edition of AEW Rampage, GCW star Mance Warner made his All Elite Wrestling debut, facing AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley.

Warner had a bloody and violent bout with Moxley, but fell short in the process. However, he did make an impression on Moxley’s Blackpool Combat Club coach William Regal.

On the latest Gentleman Villain podcast, Regal discussed the Moxley vs. Warner match and what he thought about the independent wrestler.

He said:

“I was very impressed because whatever he’s doing, he’s got to the point where people are knowing who he is. He just got brought in and thrown on live TV against Jon Moxley … He will have gone away from there with an experience.”

Regal continued to add what Jon Moxley himself said after the contest, saying:

“[Moxley] said, ‘He’s the kind of fellow I would wrestle every night of the week.'”

Mance Warner has since continued his work for Game Changer Wrestling, competing on the August 14 GCW Homecoming Night 2 in a six-man tag team match with Matthew Justice and 1 Called Manders against Blake Christian, Jordan Oliver and Nick Wayne.

William Regal will be in Bryan Danielson’s corner on tonight’s AEW Dynamite when he faces Daniel Garcia in a two out of three falls match.
