‘Winners Take All’ Mixed Tag Match Booked For WWE Extreme Rules

It was made official on Raw that WWE’s newest power couple Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will team up to defend both titles against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a “winners take all” mixed tag match at Extreme Rules.

At Stomping Grounds, Becky retained the Raw Women’s Title over Evans, and later in the night, Corbin announced Evans was his choice for guest referee for his Universal Title bout with Rollins.

Evans showed clear bias against Seth, to the point of eventually low-blowing him, which prompted the Beastslayer’s real-life girlfriend Lynch to take Evans out.

A regular WWE official John Cone, who Corbin had prior beef with due to the part he played in Corbin losing his Universal Title match against Rollins at Super ShowDown on June 7.

Rollins and Lynch opened Raw, but were cut off when they were ambushed by Corbin and Evans, who initially made the challenge.

Becky added a stip, which was that if she and Seth win, their opponents would never get a chance at their title again. This was met by Corbin saying he’d accept if he could add his own stip.

Seth wasn’t phased, and accepted before Corbin could continue, and of course he went on to add the “winners take all” gimmick.

WWE Extreme Rules takes place on Sunday, July 14.
