It was announced recently that NXT would be holding a women’s Dusty Rhodes Classic tournament. Not many other details were provided initially but now we know when the tournament will start.
It was revealed during tonight’s show that the women’s version of the tournament will begin next week. This means that both the men’s and women’s tournaments will be taking place at the same time.
A number of the teams participating in the competition have also been revealed. Here are the four announced teams for the inaugural tournament:

The NXT Twitter also mentioned that more teams will be announced soon so it appears we may know the rest of the field before next week. We will provide any updates as soon as they are made available.
